The Bristol San Diego Hotel’s Favorite Dining Experiences

One of the best things about Downtown San Diego is all of the dining options! Our guests at The Bristol San Diego – A Boutique Hotel love seeing all the fun and cool places to eat within walking distance.

Some of our Bristol employee favorites in the neighborhood and surrounding areas are:

1.       Lumi Rooftop – New to the Gaslamp Quarter, this outdoor rooftop restaurant features the world-renowned celebrity chef, Akira Back. Lumi is an upscale experience serving Japanese fare and sushi accompanied by handcrafted cocktails in a trendy atmosphere.

2.       Carnitas Snack Shack – This place should be on everyone’s bucket list of must try eateries! This outdoor restaurant is located right on N. Harbor Drive right along the Embarcadero. You must get their chilaquiles burrito with a side of tots! They are also open for brunch, one of every San Diegans favorite weekend traditions.

3.       Barbusa – Craving Italian food? Head on over to this restaurant in Little Italy, where they make their own pasta! They have also adapted well to the current situation and have created an amazing ambiance out on the street! Al fresco dining at its finest. As the Busalacchi Family says, “come for the food, stay for the festa!”

4.       Salt and Straw – looking for a sweet treat for those end of summer cravings? This ice cream shop has many different flavors to choose from. Some fan favorites are Chocolate Gooey Brownie, Honey Lavender, and Salted Malted Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough. Grab a cone and head over to Little Italy’s Piazza!

With extra safety measures in place, and limited outdoor seating, we recommend that you make a reservation for these dining establishments.

After enjoying all of the dining that this city has to offer, you can stay in one of our newly renovated rooms where we also have enhanced safety measures and protocols in place. To make a reservation, please visit: https://www.thebristolsandiego.com/
